Puerto Galera is the northwesternmost municipality in the province of Oriental Mindoro, Philippines. It is located at the southwestern end of the Isla Verde Passage, about 130 kilometers south of Manila. There are more than thirty dive sites all within a 5-10 minute banca ride from Sabang Beach. Marine life is highly diverse. 180+ species of nudibranchs are found in the area and many species of fish can be seen.

Top Sites: Verde Island (amazing walls), The Washing Machine, Sebang wreck, Canyons, Fishbowl

Water Temp/Gear to Take: low 80Fs so take 3mm to 5mm, macro and wide angle lenses for photo/video, HD/LED lights

Places to Go: Floating bars in PG bay, Rent a moped and explore the island, Beaches on the north side of the bay. The resort, the Atlantis in PG, is my top dive resort of all time (although I prefer liveaboards). Great food, easy dive site access, excellent muck and macro diving and fun nightlife to some good times in PG.
