Top Sites: East of Eden, Elephant Head Rock, Deep Six, Fantasy Reef. Also, a must dive is Richelieu Rock which is just north of the Similans.  I also found the two day seven dive overnight trip to Phi Phi island was great.

Water Temp/Gear to Take:  Mid 80Fs so take 3mm, skin or rashguards.  Highly recommend taking camera gear.
